building with convenient facilities have been constructed newly and
girl students can avail benefit of the same.
Medical
Care
The College
provides general routine check-up of the students and provides free
medicines to them as well as the neighboring inhabitants.
The
Internal Quality Assurance Cell and the Seven Subcommittees
In keeping
with the guidelines of NAAC, the college has constituted an Internal
Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) with the purpose of adopting Quality as
an inherent and intrinsic feature of the institution.
This Cell
is assisted by seven sub-committees, namely, Curricular, Teaching,
Learning and Evaluation, Research, Consultancy and Extension,
infrastructure and learning Resources, Student Support and
Progression, Organization and Management and Healthy Practice
Committees to innovate, introduce and ensure quality in all its vital
areas of functioning to assist in the post accreditation activities of
the college.
Mentor
System
To
facilitate better interaction between teachers and students, a "Mentor
System" has been introduced in the college whereby every teacher will
take the charge of about 15 to 20 students taken from the different
classes. The teacher will provide educational, personal and
psychological guidance to the students. The objective of the practice
is to enable the high achievers to reach excellence and the slow
learners to reach the minimum qualifying level.
Remedial
Teaching
Remedial
Classes are provided for students who are of average and below average
merit to facilitate them to better their performances.
Incentives for Quality Performance
In order to
gear up institutional machinery for optimal all-round performance, the
college plans to recognize the good work of students, faculty and
non-teaching staff through awards.
